This returns policy covers Marnka & Co coffee beans and all non-consumable products sold through our online store.
Email: orders@marnkaco.com - ensure the email subject line states the following:
Subject: RETURN - [then add the customer family name and order number]
Please include the order number, a short description of the issue, and photos if the item is damaged or faulty (item, outer packaging, and shipping label).
1) Change of mind returns (non-consumables)
We accept change of mind returns of eligible non-consumable items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible, the item must be:
- unused/unopened
- in original packaging (where packaging applies)
- in resalable condition
Change of mind returns do not apply to:
- coffee beans or other consumables once shipped
- items that are used, worn, washed, altered, or missing packaging or parts
- clearance or final sale items (if marked at purchase)
Return shipping (change of mind):
- Under these circumstances, the customer shall be responsible for all costs incurred for the return shipping
- We recommend tracked postage as the customer is responsible for the parcel until it arrives back with Marnka & Co.
Refund options for approved change of mind returns:
- store credit, or
- refund via the original payment method
Store credit terms (change of mind):
- issued after we receive and inspect the returned item
- valid for 12 months from issue date
- can be used on any Marnka & Co. products
- not redeemable for cash
2) Coffee beans and consumables
Coffee beans are packed for freshness. For that reason, we do not accept change of mind returns on coffee beans once shipped.
If coffee beans arrive damaged, incorrect, or not as described, contact us immediately, and we will work to provide a timely remedy.
3) Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items
Should your order arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as you can after delivery.
Damage in transit:
- If possible, please contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can assess the issue and lodge a carrier claim if needed
- This request supports shipping claims and does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Incorrect items:
- We will send the correct item, replace it, or refund it
- If we ask you to return an item, we will cover the return postage
Faulty items:
- we will assess the issue and offer a remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law
4) Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- We will refund the original payment method (unless you choose store credit for a change of mind return)
- refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the return (if a return is required)
Refund coverage:
- for faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described items: item price and any relevant shipping costs
- for change of mind returns item price only (please note the original shipping is not refundable)
5) Replacements and other remedies
If a product has a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law:
- for a major problem, customers may choose a refund or replacement
- for a minor problem, Marnka & Co. may offer to repair, replace, or refund, depending on what is reasonable
6) How to request a return
Email orders@marnkaco.com and include the following details:
- order number
- item(s) to return
- Reason for return
- photos (if damaged, faulty, or incorrect)
If approved, Marnka & Co. will respond by email and forward return instructions and the preferred return address to return the item/s.
7) Australian Consumer Law
This returns policy sits alongside the customers' rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights cannot be excluded.
